  Hello my friends, and welcome back to my blog. It was very recently the fifth anniversary of my podcast, and I released my first new episode for some time, and so I thought I might sit and take a look at what I have upcoming as I follow the anniversary and being to get back into the process of more regularly scheduled content. So let me please do my best to entice you with the things I have planned. A Brand New Project So firstly I need to introduce my brand new project. I am creating a series of what I'm calling Fandom Primers. I posted a short video enquiring about this project a while ago when I first got the idea, and the response was overwhelmingly positive, and so I'm deciding to use some of my prodigious yet obscure knowledge to provide people with a background and introduction to some incredible franchises. Hello my friends, and welcome back to my blog. I just wanted to drop another blog update for you all, as its been a few months since my last content update, and I feel like I really am getting my rhythm back as I am not only hitting deadlines that are allowing me to publish new episodes regularly, but I am also getting ahead of myself, and having fun planning new ideas, so I thought I'd talk a bit about all of that, and give some teases of what is coming next. Firstly as I said I have released two new episodes recently. My Commission episode was released two weeks ago, and an episode giving my thoughts on Toxic Fandom premiered recently. I am hoping to maintain this fortnightly schedule as I am actually ahead of myself, having gotten the recent episode made well in advance, and already being ahead for many of the upcoming ones. I've recently gone past my fourth anniversary for the podcast, meaning I'm now onto my fifth year of creating content, and so as a result I thought it might be time to post another update, as its been a bit of time since I've uploaded anything new, which I am very sorry about.  So on that topic first of all and more than anything I want to apologise to everyone for the lack of content over the past year, especially when contrasted to the year before. There's been a few reasons for this, but things are a lot better now, and I hope to get a more consistent schedule in the near future. I especially want to apologise to Dan, one of the earliest supporters of my podcast and the gentleman who purchased my first commission. Hello my friends. Happy New Year and welcome to my first blog of the year! This will be my first content update of the year, covering the things I expect to be releasing in the first month to six weeks of 2025. Just as before I'm going to be discussing every content stream I have, what I'm currently working on, and when I expect it to release. I'm doing this for a few reasons,  not least of all is to keep me focused, whil e also providing some accountability for all of you out there, my loyal fans. Although as I have said before I don't want to damage the potential of my work by rushing it, and would like it all to release when it is ready, and not before. Hello my friends, and welcome back to my blog.  One of the reasons I initially set this blog up, besides sharing things that maybe wouldn't work as podcast episodes, was to place updates for my content in a central place. As we are fast approaching the end of 2024, and I am becoming much more productive recently, I wanted to share a bit more about everything I'm working on here at Garhdo Towers, which could help give you an idea of when things might make their way to you, my lovely audience. I'm taking the view that there are six weeks left before we hit Christmas and New Year, and with a lot of current events being the way they are I want to focus on my work for the benefit of my own mental health. Hello my friends, and welcome to the first Garhdo Goes Geek blog post.  Garhdo Goes Geek is a podcast that I, Garhdo, have been running and publishing episodes for for over 3 years now. I began in April 2021 during the last COVID lockdowns here in the UK, as a way of combatting some of the mental health stresses I was under by giving myself fun things to talk about, discussing some of my favourite fandoms in film, TV, comics and video games. What started as an occasional hobby soon became something I very much looked forward to, and a shining bright spot in periods of very low mental health. I got excited thinking about what I would discuss next, what things on my long watchlist I would like to finally cross off by talking about them with my small but loyal audience.
