Content Update - Getting My Rhythm Back

Hello my friends, and welcome back to my blog. I just wanted to drop another blog update for you all, as its been a few months since my last content update, and I feel like I really am getting my rhythm back as I am not only hitting deadlines that are allowing me to publish new episodes regularly, but I am also getting ahead of myself, and having fun planning new ideas, so I thought I'd talk a bit about all of that, and give some teases of what is coming next. Firstly as I said I have released two new episodes recently. My Commission episode was released two weeks ago, and an episode giving my thoughts on Toxic Fandom premiered recently. I am hoping to maintain this fortnightly schedule as I am actually ahead of myself, having gotten the recent episode made well in advance, and already being ahead for many of the upcoming ones. I've found in the past this two weekly schedule has worked quite well for me, allowing me to be productive while not rushing my content. However I am ...

The Complete ArrowVerse and DC Television Watch Order

Hello my friends, and welcome back to my blog. So after well over a decade an age has come to an end this past week, and that was the run of DC Comics shows on The CW network. They've often been maligned, with even fans of them admitting that they have not been the best shows. However I have always felt that there is a lot to defend and celebrate about everything DC and the CW were able to accomplish, especially in the inter-connected ArrowVerse they created, featuring plenty of lesser-known DC super-heroes across several shows. They accomplished a lot with very litt...

How My Fandoms Shaped Me

Hello my friends. Today's blog has partially been inspired by my PTSD therapy. Part of confronting the trauma and dealing with the PTSD is going back and putting things in a timeline as best as you can, especially in the case of absent or repressed memories, which is a large part of what I am currently dealing with. However as part of that i am in a generally retrospective mood, and as someone who has always felt very drawn to my fandoms, wanting to learn as much as I possibly could about them and following them intermittently for years to an almost obsessive degree (not saying I'm AudHD but also not saying I'm not) and so I wanted to do a sort of timeline for my fandoms. And so that is what this blog will be, me discussing what properties I have found myself being a large fan of over the years in a rough timeline order of when I was introduced to them. Through doing this I hope to explain in some ways why this fictional media tends to mean so much to me, and why I have suc...
