My First Blog and Update
Hello my friends, and welcome to the first Garhdo Goes Geek blog post. Garhdo Goes Geek is a podcast that I, Garhdo, have been running and publishing episodes for for over 3 years now. I began in April 2021 during the last COVID lockdowns here in the UK, as a way of combatting some of the mental health stresses I was under by giving myself fun things to talk about, discussing some of my favourite fandoms in film, TV, comics and video games. What started as an occasional hobby soon became something I very much looked forward to, and a shining bright spot in periods of very low mental health. I got excited thinking about what I would discuss next, what things on my long watchlist I would like to finally cross off by talking about them with my small but loyal audience. I even gradually bought in both of my partners to help cohost on selected episodes, to give alternate perspectives.
